IWU Men’s Basketball Camps

Advanced Shooting Camp | 2025

Camp Overview
It's hard to argue that there is anything more important in today's game than being able to shoot the basketball. This camp focuses on shooting technique, mental concentration, and shooting drills to increase your accuracy. Coach Tonagel will help lead in teaching the shooting techniques that helped him as a player become an Indiana All-Star and a 4-time NCAA Tournament participant.

Arrival & Pick-Up
Each camper should arrive at Luckey Arena, located inside the Recreation and Wellness Center, between 8:45 and 9:00 AM. The floor is available for free shooting until 9:00 AM. Camp ends each day at 2:00 PM for day campers; day campers should be picked up by 2:15 PM. Parents may come in to drop off or pick-up campers if they so desire.

What to Bring
Required: Enthusiasm, a smile and a willingness to learn and have fun! Optional: Money for snacks, apparel, or a basketball.

Overnight campers: Athletic shoes for outside, linens and pillow for twin size bed (sleeping bags are OK), swimsuit, toiletries, and clothes for 2 days of camp!

Personalized Instruction
The IWU men’s basketball coaching staff and players oversee all aspects of the camp and ensure that each and every participant will receive individual coaching.

Support IWU Hoops
All Campers will receive a camp t-shirt. This t-shirt can be worn for $1 admission to all regular season home men’s basketball games during the 2025-26 season.

Camp Store
Snacks and Gatorade are available at the camp store. Additionally, IAM3 t-shirts are available for sale for $22 as well as official IWU camp basketballs for $15. Gatorade bottles with unlimited refills can be purchased for $10. Water is always available.

Lunch
There will be a 45-minute lunch break each day. Lunch is NOT provided for day campers; however, day campers can purchase the Pizza Pass for $18. The pass includes two slices of pizza, a sports drink and a bag of chips. For overnight campers, all meals are included in the cost of the camp and will be provided; breakfast and dinner will be in the dining hall while the Pizza Pass meal is provided for lunch.

Overnight campers DO NOT need to buy the Pizza Pass. It is included in the cost of the camp. The Pizza Pass costs $18 for the Shooting Camp.

Pool
A swimming pool is available at our Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC). Swimming is an optional activity offered to overnight campers. Campers are responsible for their own swimsuits and towels.

Rules & Refund Policy
Campers must abide by the rules and regulations of the IWU Basketball Camps. Any serious violation, damage to IWU camp property, or other behavior deemed detrimental to the group will result in immediate dismissal. There will be no refund or fees upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. Cancellation within one week prior to the start of camp will result in the forfeit of 50% of camp fees.
